i noticed it a couple of days ago. it's a series of five beeps in clusters from two-four. i'm wondering what the hell it means. i dont see any check engine light or any warning light, but it does annoy the crap outta me

 

The Restraints (airbag) light is so important that Ford added an audible backup to warn you if it stops working. That is the 5 beeps that you hear after startup. Repair the Restraints indicator light (possibly a bulb problem) and then have repairs made to the Restraints System for any problems indicated by the airbag Lamp Flash Code(s).
