92 Mass Airflow Problem
92 Mass Airflow Problem
I have a 92 Ranger that is driving me crazy. I had it checked by my mechanic and he says that the mass airflow sensor is seeing low voltage to it and when driving down the road it just all the sudden looses all fuel going to the motor. Does anyone khow what the voltage should be and does anyone know what controls the voltage? I have a friend who has a parts truck and was thinking of changing the brain box to see if that fixes it . 92 V6 4.0L A/C
djfllmn....do you think before you post? 92's do have MAFs, They try keep keep a wire heated at a constant temp, less air flow = less voltage, more flow, more voltage trying to keep that wire hot. Its a .5 to 5v output
im not a 'yoda service tech...im a body shop tech...i can answer almost anything when i comes to toyota tho...i worked in service as a porter(moved cars and helped techs out when needed) so i learned a lot from doing that
