I have a 96 Ranger and there is what looks like may be a small vent on the dash left of the glovebox door. I looked in my manual and it doesn't say what it is. I ask because the piece that goes in there is missing and I would like to replace and I don;t know what to search for. Thanks in advance, Billy

 

It's the interior temperature sample port for the EATC Climate Control available as an option on Explorers. It has no purpose in a Ranger.
