Icon9 97 Ford Ranger 2.3 L wipers

Hi! all,
My wipers quit working and I replaced the turn signal/ wiper switch on the column. Checked all fuses, Motor is good. Is there something in between the turn signal/wiper switch and the wiper motor that needs to be replaced? If there is , where is it located. THANKS John

Did you check the relay as well?

97 ford ranger wipers

Hi!,
Thanks for your reply. I have a schematic that shows the wiper Hi/Lo relay and the wiper run/park relay in the fuse box in the engine compartment that says fuse relay box. Also shows fuse 16 as the fuse for both of these relays. am not very smart when it comes to schematics so if this is what you are talking about can you check these with a light? or how do you find out if they are bad? I thank you for your help. John

Is there a way to see if a wiper relay is good? Thanks John

Hi! all. I got a new wiper relay and it worked. Thanks for the help.
I also want to install a new ac setup. It looks like the ac compressor would be fairly easy to do. I'm not sure about the dryer. Can I just install the new compressor? Thanks John

Icon5 all new lines?

Hi! thanks for answering my question. This is probably a dumb question, but what is the reason to change all the lines? John

Change what lines? The A/C lines? There isn't a reason. Mine are 17 years old and work like factory.
