99 ford ranger no break lights
99 ford ranger no break lights
Hi 🙋-♀️
I have a 1999 ford ranger 2 wheel drive manual 3.0l engine.
My break lights stopped working. All the other lighs work. Back up, signal's, and tail lighs all work. The third light above the window also works.
I have checked fuses and they all work, i have replaced the combination switch on the steering column and the break light switch. So we know all those things work...
I now believe we have a bad wire, how do I go about figuring out where it is? Im starting at the battery and working form there. How do i test if there is power getting to my break light switch?
Also, i tried to test at the fuse box in the cab but when i use the multimeter i don't get any readings, does anyone know what the voltage at my fuse box slot 9 (break position sensor) show be?
Thanks for any help...
