About that auto down mod.

got my module in the other day (thanks TremorJon) and was gonna get on it this weekend, but, as some of you are aware, the Beast is totalled. I was wondering if this mod could be done on a newer f-150 (might end up in one) or are they arleady auto down on passenger side?

If not, how would the mod be done? i can't seem to make sense of the wiring and since i dont have my truck to look at i can't figure it out. much obliged.

It can work fine. I have to sort out any wire color changes. I've got a LOT to do this weekend but I'll try to get to it. I'm putting a new steering rack in tomorrow if all goes well so I can get rid of the stinking leak I've got. I've got to package an OHC to ship, and make a trip to New Jersey to get my LS diff to package and ship. And of course the normal weekend family stuff. I'll get to it when I can, or maybe Bob W. will jump on it which is fine by me, lol.

The only F-150 info I have is from 2002. That year is autodown at the driver's window only like a Ranger. As unbelievable as it may seem, it looks like all the 2002 F-150 color codes are the same as a 2002 Ranger. So, on a 2002 F-150 or equivalent, you should be able to do the autodown passenger mod in exactly the same way as it is written for the Ranger.

I'll check back the other years, Bob -- maybe it really is that simple for all of them? That would be nice.

Yea that would be great. My dad wants that for his truck after seeing it on mine.
