Does anyone know how to read ABS trouble codes?? My ABS light is on and I can't figure out why.

Thanks.

Hello Tom - nice to see a post from you.
Makes me know you are still alive and well.
Sorry to hear of your ABS troubles - and plus that I can't help you.
Good luck!!

Is the ABS working? First thing I would look at is the ABS fuse...

Neil, nice to see you're still around too. I have acquired a couple new projects over the past couple months and havn't had much time to visit the Ranger sites. It's good to be missed tho.

As for the ABS, it is definitely NOT working and I checked the fuse and it's good. I think that there's a bad sensor but I can't seem to find it. All of the connections look good.

Why don't you read the codes? If the light is on that means that a trouble code has been stored.

Sorry to dig this back up.... I had N3ELZ read the codes from the OBD connector and ABS codes don't show up.

Then you need a better scanner. I can read abs codes all day long with the WDS.
