Alternator Issue? Pulsating Lights

My 2002 Ranger Edge 3.0L has pulsating lights... I have read a few others have had this issue as well...

Symptoms: no alternator light on, battery charges just fine, the gauge is in the normal area, the radio is unaffected, but all the lights, dome, head/fog, dash, and the air bag off light all pulsate.

I picked up a used alternator from the junkyard. 95 amp unit, (all the explorer ones were MIA), This one is doing the exact thing the old one was doing.

I figured the old one was dying as it had that issue and some wonderful person did a rad flush with the prestone crap kit directly above the alternator and when they put the hose mender adapter back on it was leaking onto the alternator.

Could I have just gotten TWO bad alternators? Or is there something else in the system that can be causing this....

I forgot to add that this pulsating IS rpm sensitive.... at idle, it does not pulse (must be running off the battery power) but as soon as i bring the rpms up, the pulsating begins and it does pulsate faster as the rpms are increased.

sounds like a problem with your drl module.

Voltage regulator is also a possibility.
