but.... this time it's different...it started yesterday i think, been hearin this grinding sound (almost sounded like the brake pads were gone, or sand in between the pad n rotor) well anyways...im drivin and it starts to grab and pull the the pass. side. i pull in the drive way to inspect... and the front pass. tire (top of it) is leaning in towards the motor.. and im picking up these little steel pellet type things all up n down the driveway.... anyone have an idea what might have broke? called my buddy deryck (zainyd) and he's stoppin over later to check it out... but we'll see.. hope its nothing to expensive and nothing in the Diff. got f'ed.

 

We would really need a picture...I'm interested in seeing those pellets though...

 

ya im tryin to get a pic of them, they look like little steel rods... just REALLY short.

 

ya thats what im thinking it may be, just got under n inspected it some more... and im thinking thats right.. havent been able to get the tire n rim off yet, waiting for a real jack (instead of bottle jack) and some jack stands to show up later this after noon so i can rip it apart and hopfully gettin it up n runnin before i go to work tonight.

 

I don't understand how the wheel bearing rods fell out but the wheel didn't come off...

 

ya it is the wheel bearing, but im trying to get the nut of the end of the axle shaft.... but im having a REAL hard time tyin to find a 1in 11/16 socket... this is really pissing me off.. everything else is done... just that f'in nut... the bearing assembly is ready to come out, brakes are off, etc.... just that damn nut!
