Anyone know what name or part number for this wire harness might be?

Hello,

I have a 1991 Ford Ranger XLT, 2.3 liter, 4 cylinder, rear wheel drive, 2 passenger model.

I discovered that a wire harness has been frayed, right near the connector. It's located in the engine bay, on the driver's side, just above the front left tire. It got damaged as a result of the missing wheel well, and so the tire rubbed against the wire. There are four separate wires that connect here.

The wire harness runs down and back, through the I-beam toward rear of vehicle. I think it might go to the fuel tank, but not sure. The fuel gauge does not work, BTW.

I don't know how to identify the part number to order a new one, and I'm hoping someone might be able to help?

Thanks in advance!

Best regards,
Ray
