Icon5 Autometer Gauge Wiring??

Hey I need some advice quick! I understand all the wiring for the sender. The problem I'm having is finding the right wires for the 12v lighting.

Also the way the instruction explain this confuses me. I know that the dimming wire is light blue/red and is that the wire that needs to be hooked up to my +12v lighting or is there another wire that goes to that. The reason I say this is because the instruction say that for grounding I either "connect to good ground or dimming circuit on some import vehicles" So does the light blue/red dimming wire hook up to the ground or am I just making this more difficult than it is lol.

Once again thanks guys for your help.

Light blue/red to the illumination wire of the gauge.
Ground wire to chassis ground.

If you connect the LB/RD to ground, the fuse would die.

Light blue w/red stripe is the color code for the dimmer controlled circuits in your 94. You can find it throughout the dash area like the radio, heater controls, cluster, etc.
