OK I just bought a 04 ranger yesterday w/ 45k miles. After getting down the road I noticed after 3000k rpms the light would flash. Then the ABS light come on followed by the radio quit working..I had to stop and check the battery. They said it was no good, so I replaced...Today I took the alternator off and took it to auto zone and it passed!! NOW WHAT??? The @$S hole forgot to mention the electrical problem

 

Wow I'm surprised it wasn't the alt. Check all your ground connections, power wires, etc make sure all of those are secure.

This is the same jlstang from f150online right? I'm 06xlt4x4 over there

Yea thats me...Little ranger is a big difference for sure!!

 

i still think it is the alternator. it could be charging with the proper voltage but not the proper amperage...

 

now the battery light is flashing at 2500 rpms...Its still cranking fine and im not getting no power surging. Guess i will call the alternator shop and see what they think.
