what kinda beeping? maybe the door ajar "beeep" keeps going off... in that case- WD40 the lock mechanisms. oh and if it's a 2000 it'll have pretty much the same front end as my truck (check out my avatar) and if it's a 2003 it'll have pretty much the same look as your truck's front end.

Could be a digital watch in the glove box. I've had that happen before.

On my truck, if i dont turn the ignition all the way off, it will beep 5 series of 5 beeps. My car does this on everystart up and every half hour while your driving. I have never found out why the car does it, but airbag light in my truck has been on for a long time. Im not to worried about it as it only happens on rare occasions.

Are you talking about a car or your truck

If the airbag light is on it should beep.

im talking about both obivously. I think i split up the contents of my other post well enough to distinguish both situations. Both have the same annoying beep, but occur differently. I know it should be beeping if the lights on, thats what idiot lights are for.

Its pretty vague, you dont even list makes or models. You also bounce from truck to car and back to truck in three sentences.

Ill bet the beeping in your "car" is the seat belt reminder or a problem with it.

its the door ajar beeeep...it comes in sets of about 5 every 2 hours for about a week. then it'll stop, and come back in 2 monthes..it sounds like its coming from around the airbag light
(right below the air condition switches), and yes i checked the glove box for a digital watch, nothin was found

Im sorry its hard for you to do a lil research on what truck i drive. But to help you out, 97 xlt. And the car make and model is irrelevant to the situation, as it isnt bias to that model.

And no, its nothing to to do a seat beat reminder or problems with it. If you read you owners manual, or a haynes manual, the description i posted, is similar to that of the original posters', and is listed as an airbag malfunction, or service needed.
