Brake Light is screwy...

Well I was backing up to the garage the other night and when i was getting close i noticed that my brake lights weren't on. so i put it in park and pushed the pedal down a few times to see what was up. I found that at the first touch of the pedal they come on, and as i i keep pushing they shut off and then come back on again at a full mash on the breaks.

So basically under normal breaking I'm guessing i have no brake lights coming on. Anyone have an idea? Maybe i need to get under the dash and look at the pedal brake switch thing. Just seemed odd

Probably time for a new switch. I have noticed that they come on when you hit the pedal but as soon as you start letting off they turn off. So you could be at the floor and as soon as you back off a tad they turn off. At least mine do that.
