My brake lights will work then they won't. I have to wiggle the wiring harness that is connected to the brake pedal. Any ideas how to fix it?

ford has had a few problems on other vehicles where the wires break where the go into the harness plug at the brakelight switch, take the harness off the switch and make sure the wires are in good shape. if that doesnt work you could try a new brakelight switch, shouldnt be more than a few bucks, and easy to change if you can fit under the dash. let us know what happens

That wasn't the problem with Candice's ranger, a '97. It worked when you wiggled it also, but it was the switch. Replacing the switch solved the problem. It's easy to do also.
