is your steering wheel shaking? or the whole front? if you feel it shaking on turns then it's air in your power steering. if you feel it while braking in a straight line, you might want to recheck your installation

I haven't noticed it when I am turning, but I usually only brake hard in a straight line. It seems to be the whole front end, but of course I feel it mostly in the steering wheel. Any ideas on what I could have missed during the install?

warped rotor possibly, or you messed up something on the installation...

did you get any greese on the rotors while installing them? Or did you wipe them completely off after you were done?

it could be that you didn't use brake cleaner before installing the rotors, or you over tightened the bolts on your wheels too much thus warping your rotors.

Ford ranger shaking when braking

99 Ford ranger I replaced inner and outer tie rod ends
The brake pads look good.a like scar right in the middle of hub.i greased everything under the front
I rotated the tires I went to grease upper and lower control arms bushings and the grease pushed it's self out
Of little holes I know this is not normal
My truck only shakes on the right side when I hit the brakes so this is what I am going to do I'm going to replace both sides of the control arms bushings then everything
under the front will be new I shook the the rotor when I had the brake pads off no shaking tht I could find.
So I will do a process of replacing a part.a little at the time
If it still shakes I'll do the wheel bearing I will give you up date as I go a long.......since this seems to be a regularl thing with the ford rangers
Any comments will help thank you,,,,,,,,
