A/C Blower not Working

Hi,

I have a problem on a Ford Ranger 2.5TD 2009. The blower for the A/C only works in position 4. If the blower is in position 1-3 the A/C comes on but the blower does not. If I then turn the blower to position 4 the A/C goes off, but the blower works.

I have checked all the fuses under the dashboard, as well as those under the hood. All are fine. I have also changed the relay the switches on the A/C that sits under the hood. No change.

What should I try next before I start stripping away the entire dash to see if the control *** is broken somehow? Any help and tips would be appreciated.

Regards,
Jester

Don't strip the dash. It is the blower motor resistor located on the firewall of the engine bay (passenger side). Easy fix, happened to my truck twice now. Auto parts stores carry it for 20-25 bucks and its a 5 minute fix
