can't figure this one out please help!

Hey so I was hoping to get some tips and feedback on what this problem could be.

I was driving and all of a sudden i lost the ability to accelerate. I was pushing on the gas pedal but getting no response until about 3-4 seconds later then it kicked in and accelerated fine but i lost it again. It felt almost like i was running out of gas but the gas guage was not empty. I pulled over and turned the truck off. I tried to start it and it barely turned over and started but idles really rough around 200 rpm. I replaced the spark plug wires, coil pack, and fuel filter. I cleaned the IAC valve really well and checked the battery voltage and it read 12.5V. I also cleaned the MAF sensor. Now it turns over but wont even start. Any ideas or suggestions?....
Thanks,
Josh

i was thinking it was the fuel pump but it sounds like it works when i turn the key on. check engine light is on so i'll try and scan it to see what it is. I was just hoping to narrow it down without scanning it because i don't have a scanner. ha

Check the fuel pressure (free) before changing the pump (co$t).
