sensor

ok i got a 87 ranger there is some sensor that if it gets tilted the truck wont crank well the people before me broke it. well to fix it they got a ubolt and a peice of would and mounted it to the distributor. does any one no what sensor this could be ill have a pict later also there are 4blue wires running out of it

Wow buddy a little more effort on the format of your posts would help people help you allot. What engine do you have? Need more info.

ok i talked to a guy bout the sensor he said it is mounted in the distributor that controles the firing and timing
