Check Gas Cap???

Before setting an OBDII trouble code for a large vapor leak in the evaporative emission system, the Check Fuel Cap light may come on to alert the driver. Now that you have replaced the cap, try resetting the PCM by removing the neg battery cable and turning on the headlight switch briefly. After reinstalling the battery cable, the light should be out. If the cap light returns or if a CEL comes on, you may have a large leak somewhere else in the system.
