Cluster swap ???
Cluster swap ???
Now, I have tried the search function regarding doing this, but, I am appearantly NOT entering it correctly, or it has been done (yeah, right).
Anyways. I would like to know if anyone here knows what might be needed to use the gauge set from a 93 Explorer in a 90 Ranger that came with NO tach. I believe that I simply have to make sure that the tach doesn't have a ground returning into the harness, which is what the Explorer does. Anybody?
I can keep the A/M tach that I have right now, bu I really don't care for the "added on" look of it.
Thanks in advance, Folks.

Backwoods "X"
I've got the entire cluster, fortunately. Heck, I had the whole "X", until I gave to the kids to learn to drive in out here on the farm. Now, I simply have "parts". So, I simply swap out the entire assembly, and I should be GTG, correct?
