why wont OB11 code reader work on 2007 canadian ranger? Will any other code readers work?

 

2007 and newer Rangers require a newer reader that is compatible with the Controller Area Network bus. Look for a reader that has "CAN" or "CAN-bus" in its name or specifications. In the U.S., this type of reader can be found for as little as $30.
