cold air intake on a 93

cold air intake on a 93

i just bought a 93 ranger and want to put a new cold air intake on it(cone not the flat one) and a new cat back exhaust on it so first question is where can i find them cheap, and second how hard is it to instal a air intake into the truck .thanks.

Save your money and mod the air box over the CAI. As none of them will actually pull air from any other place than the stock box.


If you want the cool looking chrome pipe under the hood than that's a different story.

Remove the silencer if it has one and cut a bigger hole in it. A cat back will change the sound not much else.

Performance and cheap don't go together.

I did the airbox mod to my 93 not long ago and it's not too hard to do.

I noticed a difference in the sound but performance wise not really but my truck needs new plugs right now so it isn't running 100%
