Very sweet. Might have to get my hands on some. Granted I would need a reason for it.... but that can be arranged.

The schematic shows you can have up to 4 accessories per switch with the 6 prong models. A on/off switch for say, your efan will only have 4. Dont forget that it has its own LED and it'll need a power source just for that (Dont need it though).

The only problem with the fan switches for my setup is that mine is 3 position -- OFF/ON/AUTO which is what I recommend. I can set the fan to run all the time, be off all the time, or to cycle with temperature and the A/C compressor (auto).

I do like them though. Carl has some of those and they are great looking.

Griggs...I would love to have mine setup like that. Have you got a write up on it?

No, I don't...wait, yes I do but it's of limited usefulness because I designed and built my own fan controller electronics after the one I bought stopped working (my homebrew is still going strong).

Let me look it up and I'll link it, then we can talk about how to do it with a purchased controller.

You're the man griggs.

I was going over how I wanted my switch wired up and I kept bouncing back between having full control (on/off) or having the temp sensor control it...

Your way gives me the best of everything...I never even thought of a 3 position switch.

Okay, well the idea here is that "center" is "off" and the positions to either side are full on or auto.

If you can read schematics, look at the switch in the diagram in my post on the circuit in this topic:

https://www.ranger-forums.com/forum2...ad.php?t=12487

And ask questions over there rather than us cluttering up this one.

Wouldnt the RS43P series switch (3rd one down) work as a 3 position switch? It says ON/OFF/ON - 6 PIN DPDT

Absolutely. That would work just fine. I didn't look at that. It would allow you to use the logo'd switch in the configuration I mentioned for sure.

To those who ordered switches already, have you got them yet? I ordered mine 6 days ago and haven't even received a shipping notification or anything. Emailed them 3 days ago and no reply...

I just sent them another email so hopefully they'll ship it soon.

Wow...about 5 mins after I sent the email I got my money refunded. Guess I'm not going to get my "cool" switch. They didn't even send me a reason, just a re-fund.

Heads up to anyone looking to buy from them.
