coolant temp sensor issues
 

Hey guys I have a lil bit of an issue I need help with. I recently replaced my heater core in my 2000 ranger and shortly there after (two weeks or so) the coolant temperature sensor housing had a malfunction. I replaced it but I couldn't get the original sensor out of the old housing, so I replaced it as well. since replacing the coolant temperature sensor housing and sensor, I have had no tep. gage. ugghhh. please advise. I have even changed the sensor thinking that I got a bad one from Advanced Auto Parts, but two in a row?
