Cruise control

I don't have it. I would like to install it with factory controls, But I need some guidance. Can I just get the buttons and install them (as in the CC module is already in my truck? Or am I looking into a lot more work and parts?

There is a how to on this, you need to check if your truck has the plug on the pass fender. if does not have it you will have alot more work to do.

There is a writeup, but there is also a easier way to do this, I have! Here is what you need, go to the JY or Recycle yard and grab you a

1- servo unit
2- steering column with buttons

That's it, and i have cruise, be sure though that you are hardwired for it under the hood in your main fuse box, if not you will have to add a few relays, I personally just snagged a engine harness with the same year as mine and swapped engine harness from a donor ranger with cruise, To me that's oem and a direct swap, very inexpensive.

You don't have to replace the steering column but you will need to replace the clockspring and you can add the buttons to your steering wheel. Personally I replaced my steering wheel with a leather one out of an explorer that already had the cruise control buttons installed.
