Cylinder 6 misfire on 3.0 V6

Hey guys, I have a 2001 Ford Ranger 4x4 3.0 V6. Ever since I bought the truck (used), the #6 cylinder will misfire when at idle. I ran a code reader on it and it was a P0306. The misfire is only intermittent, and only occurs after about 15 minutes of driving, and then bringing the engine to an idle. The engine will straighten itself out once I start driving again. I’ve replaced the coil pack and plugs and wires, and still no luck. Does the ECM possibly need to be re-flashed? Open to any suggestions, thanks.

Worth a try since the only other thing I can think of is a bad injected or a poor intake/exhaust valve seal.

compression test for #6?
