Dash Lights and Instrument Panel Lights... Colors???

So I am getting a new stereo for my Ranger which has blue buttons and blue display and I have some blue neon lights from my last car sitting around that I'm thinking of putting inside next to the seats and such and then thought about how the Instrument Panel lights and the Dash Lights are all GREEN.

My friend Matt re-did his to make them BLUE before though painting and someone I work with said he did his by replacing something (bezels i think).

Does anyone know how to do this??? A possibly simple way that even I could manage to do.

Thanks in advance!

You may check at auto zone. I had to replace dash lights on my 01. After taking the panel out they just snap in. I don't know if they have blue or not. I think the panel is what makes the green color not the bulb.

I like my green dash....

I just want the arrows to be white, and the mileage #'s to be a cripser white at night..
