Disconnect Horn

So I finally got my horn fixed, but now when I lock or unlock my truck, it honks 3 times as well as the chirp noise. What can I do to disconnect the horn from the lock/unlock circuit and still be able to use my horn regularly? I have an autopage security system btw.

Huh? When the horn was broken, all I got was a "chirp chirp". Now when it chirps it also honks 3 times regardless of a lock or unlock.

Find where the alarm connects to the YE/LG wire and cut it.

that would be fixing the symptom and ignoring the problem.

the horn is honking three times to signal an error condition. probably best to determine what it's trying to tell you before you remove the voicebox...
