Ok first i am no electrican...but my dome light stays on all the time...i tried door sensors but did not fix it, i was going to run 2 neon tubes under my das for dome lights and did but again the dome circut got power the whole time, i checked the fuses and everything..i did not know if there was a relay or not for it..anyone know anything i can have check? its been bothering me all weekend

 

Before you do anything else, make sure that your dimmer wheel isn't rolled all the way to the "always on" position.

The most common cause is sticking door ajar switches. You have as many switches as you have doors, so check them all.

yea my dimmer wheel is basicly all the way to the bottom which is off i think (dash lights arent on)...i only have 2 doors and have replaced both door switches but the problem kept on...

 

spray the door latches with some wd-40 that worked for me on.... I sprayed some in then I would open and close the doors several times and the light would shut off.
