Door Ajar light/dome light HELP

How do i fix the problem of my door ajar light being on and occasionally my dome light staying on? is it expensive to fix the door sensors or is there a way to fix that by just disconnecting the battery?

Its been covered on here a lot. Search and you will find a bunch of threads that have the answer. I can't remeber exactly where to spray the WD-40 and am too lazy to search.

Mine did the same thing. Spray inside the latch, not to much just a good soaking.

You can do the "band-aid" fix and just spray the latch sensor, or you can just replace them. They tend to get stuck with dirt and grime over time and faster if you get your truck oil coated. Very cheap and easy to replace though.

all fixed. it was the passenger side that was making the light come on. i did both sides though. then i had to take my dash off and speedo off to fix the black part of the tach needle that i popped off from hitting the dash hard lol(you can see the little round black part of the tach needle isnt there cuz its on the bottom left corner of the cluster lol).....lets just say my truck was a mess for about an hour lol
