"Door Ajar" light keeps coming on

"Door Ajar" light keeps coming on

For tha past 2 days now, while ive been driving, my "door ajar" light comes on. And my doors are not "ajar".... LOL... Does anyone know how I can fix this??

Try lubing the latch mechanisms on the doors. The door ajar switches are built into those latches and when they get dusty or dry, they become unreliable.

or you could open all your doors one at a time and slam them shut. i had to do that a few times when i put my box in until it "molded" or whatever. but yea, lube them.

i sprayed mine with wd40 and it went away......airbag light too

When this happens on mine it is usually the ext. cab door towards the bottom..Everyonce and awhile you ned to push really hard on the bottom....
