E brake cable problem

since the body lift the ebrake cable near the frame is to long and the fabed up job ( if you can call it that) bracket made by the guys who did the lift has broken. I just need a shorter midline cable to take up some slack. any one know where i can get this from and make it. pictures explain more.

hope this makes sense, any help would be great. Thanks

im not sure exactly what they did being it was lifted by the previous owner but they must have added to much slack to the line to the compensated with a shoddy bracket that keeps breaking. i just want to get rid of the bracket and make a shorter cable to make up the slack, but am unsure of how to make cable like that with the metal knots in the end that clamp into the clamp shown. its hard to explain but i hope that some what explains it.
