i doubt the efan draws anymore than the Taurus efan......get yourself a SPST 40A relay......i have one you can have if you pay shipping for it.....it is the exact kind i am using on my Taurus efan controller....
.i mean the entire thing got hot including the bottom part...
hmm. where can you get those relays at? the chevy is down and i need my truck running

heres what i just did tell me if it makes any sense..i added a second relay where the controller will turn on the fan and act as a switch for the second relay that will provide more juice. so far the relay hasn't got hot and its been running for 15mins..iam going to let it run another 30 or so and see if it works..

i just got an idea....what if i got the same controller and used the wires that are supposed to goto the fan be the turn on for something like a starter solenoid and that way it has enough juice to power the fan?

www.spalusa.com
FAN-PWM is the one specific i am talking about.....
Spal has a wiring diagram for high power draw fans......request if from them.......that is what I did...
i like the SPAL controller because it is more accurate and doesn't use a push in probe, but taps into the factory water temp gauge and uses that voltage reading to signal the fan.....
actually D mentioned something about a Dodge Caravan having something at one time that was not in the PCM
we are giving you options, but you are not paying attention........so do what you want..
all i did was ask a question..i looked at the tech specs and didnt see the amperage rating...i just dont want to spend 100 bucks and my fan burn it up..that why i keep asking questions...if you are going to get pissy dont bother helping me..hate to be that way but iam new to the efans and had some questions
Mine is not the cheapest.. but it only draws 17amps max and works very well. Can control it in cab too. (On/Off/Auto)
