ecometer digital gauge

Not really sure where this thread would go, but does anyone have that new ecometer gauge by autometer in a ranger? The gauge is suppose to measure instantaneous fuel economy, average fuel economy, digital tachometer with instantaneous fuel economy, and digital speedometer with instantaneous fuel economy. The gauge plugs into the OBD port and that's all the wiring needed. On the summit racing website it lists different ford vehicles but not a ranger. Also are the OBD ports universal for all fords or not?

Seriously. The SG2 will do a lot more. Monitor 4 items at once including ATF temp, coolant temp, instant fuel econ, and a lot more. It will also read and clear codes.

Yeah, spend the money and get a gauge that reads it all and then some. It's kinda the saying, if you're gonna do a job, do it right. Well in this case the SG2 is the "right" way to do it for the money you're about to shell out for a gauge that only reads a few things.

ATF temp is a good one to know. However, I really don't want to know how much fuel my truck uses.. it already rubs it in every time I fill it up. LR

Thanks for the info. Might have to get the SG2 sometime in the future. I just like the autometer products and I already have a couple autometer gauges in my truck already, thats why i was leaning towards the ecometer.
