Hello,

Bought a 2003 Ranger XL last week and it has been doing great until today. I drove it this morning to the gas station and when I went to restart it, the battery had died. Figured out itwas connectivity issues at the terminals.

Now the speedo needle moves with the tach needle at idle when I rev the motor. Also, I am getting shocked when leaving the truck.

Any ideas as to where to start looking?

Got it fixed. Turned out to be a bad battery.
