Exhaust: What are you disturbing the peace with?

Hey all,
For a Christmas gift to myself, im going to get myself a new Exhaust kit, I was thinking Flowmasters American thunder (racing?, i forget) but i wanted to know if anyone here has upgraded theirs and what it sounds like and what kind of compliments or such you get with them. I've already offed my Catalytic converter so this will be a complete job from headers to muffler.
I don't want Noise violation loud, but i want people to know im comin.

Flowmaster Super 44 is what i would run. Run it with like 2.5in pipe it will be decently loud, and people will here when your coming. or you can just straight pipe it like i did to mine. But i kept my cats

dumped under the bed. stock cats. Personally I think magnaflow is was too tame. Maybe a 50 series or 40 series flowmaster.

hell i got a flowmaster super 44 on my truck, straight pip from manifold to the muffler than just have duel turn downs in stead of messing around with more pipe, sounds great, a nice semi quiet idle a really low sounding exaust if i turn my truck on then go inside the house and tought the upstairs wall over my driveway i can feel it and my parents say they an hear me coming down the road from inside the house with the tv on so people deff will know your coming, and it vibrates the whole truck when i'm driving or is i rev the engine. :D

I had a flowmaster super 40 on my ranger. It sounded pretty good, not too loud but deep and throaty. I now have a 40 series flowmaster on the f150 and good god it is loud. The whole neighborhood knows when I leave for work in the morning........

Chambered sounds the best on a v6. Magnaflow sounds like butt IMO

sounds like you got the most votes for flowmaster super 44 series :) and evilclown312 if you were talking about flow master, my muffler came off my buddies mud truck and the muffler broke off the rused out pipes and all i did was wire brush it a bit and it was good to go and hasn't rusted any more than it already was since i put it on
