That looks awesome. Wish I could have one. Isn't there some guy on here with a super charger that has one.

Yep Bob aka rwenzing has one in his truck and I think he is the only one with one in a ranger? You can't do it to a stock ranger, he has a 5.0 out of an explorer and is also using a hybrid of ranger/explorer electronics. Do a search I believe he has a 5.0 build thread that has some of that info in it.

I know, I looked and couldn't find anything. I also am going with an explorer 5.0 swap. Ironically enough...I was also looking into a centrifugal supercharger swap.

Thanks, helpful a bit, but I need a wiring diagram. I have no idea where any of these wires go to.

I know all about the trip computer. 5.0L only and what not. I am not worried about that. I am looking for the wiring.

Bob used a combination of a ranger computer and the explorer computer to get it all to work. IMO it might be way too much work.

I used two Wiring Manuals to match everything up - one for the donor Ex and one for my Ranger. (1998 and earlier wiring manuals went by the name "EVTM")

These may also help:

I believe that the OP is asking about using the Message Center in conjunction with a 5.0 swap. That is not the same thing as using a MC in a stock Ranger.

I suppose I am the OP, whatever that means. Yes, It will be with a 5.0 swap. I am going to install this now and than run all my wires while I am waiting to do my 5.0 swap.

I am using it in my Ranger. It will just be in conjunction with a 5.0L swap since the ranger pcm can't do the fuel flow rates and what not. The only one that will is the explorer 5.0L PCM. I am doing the swap so I had this and couldn't sell it. I said forget it then, I will install it.

no, while pulling it off to do that (plastic X 1,000 grit wet sand and some rubbing compound.) I managed to burn a HUGE bubble into the lens. It's trash and needs to be replaced. Anyone know where I can get smoked plexiglass? Thin as possible.

That piece is very thin and flexible. To me, it looks more like colored acetate sheet rather than plexiglass. Acetate is available in many thicknesses and colors. You might try an artists' supply store or commercal art supply company.
