1st post. Probably going to pick up a 2002 Flareside. It needs a tailgate and I'm wondering if I should try to find a used one, or buy one of those new ones that are shown on eBay for around $120? The tailgate is still on the truck, but it is pretty smashed on one side, so I should be able to reuse most of the hardware.

Anyone have experience with EBay tailgates?

 

If it was my truck I would prefer a used Ford part over a cheap aftermarket part any day.
