Fog lights

Alright I have a 2002 ford ranger edge the fog lights worked great before but today I noticed they weren’t on I got out and checked and they didn’t work but they work when the button is pressed and held in and I’m not about to hold the fog lights button while driving has anyone else had this problem or know how to fix it can’t be a fuse because then they wouldn’t work at all and I doubt it’s a shirt I the wiring maybe the connectors lose or switch is going bad but any other ideas would be appreciated thanks

sounds like your switch has pooped out on you. you could try spraying some contact cleaner inside the switch & working the button for a couple minutes to see if there's just some crud built up on the contacts... if it works, you're good to go.
if the switch still doesn't work, you can always swap it out (i have several oem fog switches that i led mod).
