Maby some of you Guys and Gals can help me. Im just not sure where to start.
as im starting my truck when I turn the key to run i here the fuel pump relay click every time but i dont here the fuel pump every time,and it doesnt start.I would jiggle the key ,pull it out and in and on the 5th or 6th time I here the fuel pump run and it starts right up..
It never stalls while im driving
and it is getting progressively worse, taking more turns of the key to finally here the fuel pump run
I was thinking a short in the ignition switch or a short in the fuel pump.
I changed the Relay already and that didn't help
Ive read in some forums that the fuel pump relay only kicks in at the start and then the crankshaft sensor runs the pump when the engine is running
can anyone tell me where to start or what to check first
