I have swapped doors on my daily awhile back and all of a sudden after almost 3/4 of a year its now beeping like the door is open very annoying so what FUSE or where is the beeper located so I can remove it. My ranger is a 1997 2.3L if that helps. I would look in my owners manual but I lost it so please help me.

Are sure it's a fuse?, i was thinking since you swapped the doors the new one might not be the same setup as the old one. make sure there isn't a little sensor that gets pushed in when you shut the door. (on the b-pillar)

 

It's a switch sticking inside the door at the latch. Spray the crap out of it with "PB Blaster" and that should take care of it.

but yeah i think the old style door which have is off a 94 model and it was push pin and mine was eletric so when we snipped the wires but is has never done it til now.

But where is the beeping coming from?

 

This is your 97 right?

If so then it's a black box somewhat behind the radio under the dash.
