Gas Dump

Our 90 4.0 has a nasty symptom- it dumps gas from an unknown area at random times. We shut it off, I go through the motions of following the lines and checking the filter, and cannot find the source. I read in the Haynes about a pressure relief valve, but I cannot locate it to test. Any ideas?

Pressure relief valve is located on the fuel rail. Looks kinda like a bicycle valve stem, only a lil bigger. Other than that, good luck!

There is a fuel pump shut off valve under the glove box behind the carpet, if that helps too...

Find that leak before you keep on driving it that way. My buddy learned the hard way just this last summer.. Poor guy. At least he escaped (barely) with his life...

All from a leaking fuel filter...
