Got broken into... alarm choices?

Hey guys, my truck got broken into last night. Probably by some drug addict because all they took was a burned CD and my mp3 cable.... and left other things of greater value...

Retards.... anyway they popped the lock or some crap... looks like a screwdriver did the job... dented the door a bit

Anyway... Whats my best choice for an alarm? anything to ask for? look out for?

LMK

I just got a crazy quote of $1310 for a Titan alarm/starter combo....

something that will create the most noise possible and not sound like all the others. i had an alarm on my old '95 probe but it was broken into anyway....twice. alarm blaring and all. no one noticed a thing. if they want it bad enough, they will get it. just try to keep ANYTHING of value out of site.

Get yourself a lockbox bolted behind the seat along the back wall there... and anytime you head out, stash whatever you dont want taken into it :-D

Curiosity is sometimes your worst enemy. If your windows are tinted really dark, chances are, you have something in there that you don't want just anyone to see........well those "just anyone" people if given the chance WILL get a look and just might take whatever it is that you were trying to hide.

I want an alarm with one of those little key chain dongles with the screen on them that vibrates and makes noise when the alarm goes off, but I would disconnect the annoying horn thats hooked up to it so no one but me would know that the alarm is going off. Then the fun could begin =]

Then look at Viper or Python alarm systems.
