Got Stuck Vent

I'm not upset I just felt like telling somebody

So I'd say around 4:30pm Sunday night my GF and I went out to do some 2 wheeling. I have tiny street tires on the truck at the moment but we weren't planning on doing anything heavy, just hitting some trails.

So out we went to this open trail section behind our neighborhood that eventually links up to some nicer hills trail and dunes. We had some fun through some of the smaller trails until my GF starts noticing that the entire area is starting to turn into sand. Not wanting to get too far in we start looking for a place to turn around. After about 200ft and not seeing anything coming up soon I decide to try to run up the bank and turn around through the bushes, that seem to have harder dirt than the sand trail we were on, instead of just stopping and going in reverse. Well that was a bad idea, the second we hit the bank the rear end sunk. I tried to rock it out of the rut it dug itself into just to make another one right behind it. Eventually I managed to dig the entire rear end up to the bumper, halfway up the diff and half of the tires. So my GF and I got to digging lol About 2 hours later we managed to make a giant hole, and a truck half buried in sand. We finally ended up just giving up and walking back to the main trail so a buddy of our could pick us up. About right when he showed up a kid hauling some dirt bikes was driving up in a 4x4 Z71. We told him our predicament and he gladly helped. About 15min later, multiple changes of towing direction and the discovery that the ENTIRE area, hills, bushes and all was soft sand the truck was freed and back on the main trail with nice hard dirt.

Just thought I'd share my weekend story :D
