Grinding brakes.

Hi Guys,

I've been having a problem with my brakes for awhile now, even before I got the LT kit. It's very sporadic and the rotors & pads are new. The calipers have about 168k miles on them.

Sometimes I'll be driving and say coming up on a red light or stop sign, and as I start applying the brakes before I make a complete stop I'll hear this grinding sounding like metal on metal. Then it will be fine for awhile maybe couple days, then start grinding again. Like I said pads are brand new rotors were changed about 3 months ago. It happened before I changed the rotors and pads as well but they had plenty of meat and I took it to a brake shop and they couldn't see anything wrong. They even drove it around and braked hard for me but it wouldn't grind for them. It's progressively getting worse.

Maybe I need new calipers? Not sure what it could be at this point.

Thanks for your help.

Camburg spindle.

Sounds like its in the brakes somewhere but the rotors and pads are new. Maybe I just got some bunk rotors, so I'll swap those out for another pair.
