Electrical Gremlins

I have a 99 and the Door ajar light is always on in the gauge cluster, the dome light takes around 3 hours to shut off after I shut the door and the door dinger will not stop going off until I mess with the ignition. HELP

Mine does it to, mostly when it gets hot which is strange. There is a little door sensor pin that moves back and forth and that needs lubricated. Unforunately I haven't fixed this problem yet cause it hasn't happened recently but have read up on it. The pin is somewhere inside the door which requires removing the door panel. Here's a link where it was asked before.

They say to use WD-40 but I'm not so sure. It works in the short term but in the long term gets gummy and makes the problem worse. Use graphite dust, works great for metal on metal and won't gum up.

Thanks guys. I looked all over thr door jam for the dome light sensor but could not find it. I went out and sprayed W-D 40 in the door latch and the problem was solved. Thanks again.
