HAD A SMALL FIRE SWAPPED ENGINE HARNESS NOW NO CRANK NO START 1999 RANGER 3.0
Hey I'm wondering if anyone knows what might be my problem here..First off I had a small fire ( contained to under the coil pack) so I replaced the coil pack resealed the injectors and replaced the wiring harness. I have a '99 3.0 manual and I got a harness from '98 3.0 automatic, everything Ive seen tells me they are interchangeable. I'd like to emphasis I got a harness from an automatic so I now have two extra 16 pin connector pins that would have gone to the automatic transmission but since I have a manual it doesn't really matter I don't think. I think I need a couple wires from the connector pins but not many.
Now I have a no crank no crank issue w/ a rebuilt starter and charged battery no blown fuses and my OBD2 sensor doesn't read anything from my truck. I'm a bit confused on what to do next. Relearn maybe? Idk, if anyone knows what's going on here please let me know I'm kinda at a loss debating on if I should take it to a shop or not but I can't really afford that My '99 Ranger 3.0 4wd 5-speed This is one of the 16 pin connectors I have left the other one is grey and alot like this one These are the two sensors that run back to my transmission from my engine harness
