Headache: Fog lights

So, when I first got the truck, I added some extra foglights. I spliced into the stock foglights for power. Well, on the same side I did that, then stock light has gone out. I tried replacing the bulb and it didnt work.

My question is: Can I get a new wiring peice that goes from the foglight to whereever it leads? Or, will it be too tough to do?

I would prolly just cut and respilce everything(take out the extra foglights) and try and make the stock one work again?

dude you are cutting the power in half by spllicing into the factory ones...run all connections as they say in the instructions and use the "remote/ switched" and tap that into the factory harness for a turn on lead

Steven, I know.

I didnt ask what I did,I'm asking how hard it is to replace that main wiring from the foglight to the power.

how far up did you splice into the harness? you can buy the fog light bulb connector it comes with about 8 to 10 inches of new wire so you can splice that in. when you go to do this get a relay and use that for the added ones ... its simple cake brotha i can show you or even get your parts

I might take you up on that. Sopunds like what I need. I spliced the wires about 5 inches up from the connector of the foglight.
