I don't know what I am doing but can anyone if Florida lend a helping hand?
I am selling the truck in a few so I need this fixed as soon as possible, I will give 50 for working and pay for the gasket!
Thank You

It's the drivers side, at least I am pretty sure... that is where all the oil has spilled (all over tierods, control arms, ABS lines etc etc)
I am having it re-checked soon to make sure it's the side I think it is and see how the other side is doing.
I know it's a lot of work, A LOT.

no white smoke, runs rough occasionally, and some sort of milky film in the resivoir is what was described to me. she went to autozone/advanced and had someone look at it and they mentioned head gasket. Also had a pretty decent decline in gas mileage as well lately. I cant help much as im 2 hours away, so thats only going by what she has told me.
put the gasket on and call it a day if your goingto sell it dont wory about the head work or head bolt just talk them an extra 20 ft pounds and sell it that what i do when i buy cars with head gaskets and sell them for more money then i buy them
I am doing a trade with someone, not selling it. Straight trade... my truck for his Mustang.
I was going to get it fixed and never mention anything, but I don't know.
My oil is low but normal.
Coolant is milky on top
It's runs like crap, straight crap.

Because I don't need a truck right now. I can't afford to keep fixing it, so bascilly I can't afford to keep going off roading.
I also would like to be getting better MPG and be able to go the speed limit. Ha.
No smoke (yet). I am not driving it until I get it checked out.

I wouldnt drive it in fear of overheating that engine then costing you more work and money, but hey its your truck.
If it looks like a chocolate milkshake then its a head gasket.
It takes alot of beating to need a new head gasket on a 3.0 sounds like you ran that engine rough.

Doubt you'll get much better mileage than the truck, not enough to offset the added insurance increase atleast. Also i wouldn't expect for it to be 'free from problems' either...Think of the guy you are about to trade with, if this happened two weeks from now, he'd be feeling pretty stupid...hate to be on the other end of the stick with another issue with another car. And i sure hope this mustang isn't owned by a teen guy or anything....lord knows that its been through! Actually i know too, i bought a modded 87 5.0 when I was 16, poor poor car got ragged on, bad!
Good luck with the head gasket issue. Body lift is going to make it more of a pain and maybe cost more to get it done as well
